Starwberries Are a Healthy Fruit!
It is important to consume more natural antioxidants, which reduce risk of cancer and many other diseases, opposed to consuming artificial supplements. The fresher the fruit the better. The longer the fruit sits on the shelves, the more of a decrease in the level of antioxidants that that fruit or veggie contains. So, whenever possible, visit your nearest U-Pick farm and pick your own. There are many benefits to picking your own strawberries and/or other veggies besides the price. You'll get more antioxidants for the money too! Who can beat that deal? The fruit is cheaper and you get more for your money
than you thought.
Antioxidants are a great thing but don't forget the Vitamin C. Yes-- strawberries, and many other berries, are a great source for Vitamin C. Remember the more natural the better. So be sure to consume more natural sources of Vitamin C, such as strawberries and other fruits, than dietary supplements that simply contain supplemental Vitamin C. These vitamins do great things for your body. The most important to note is vitamins stimulate white blood cell production.
Cancer fighting fruits
Strawberries and other red-ish fruits such as raspberries, tomatoes, pink grapefruit, watermelon and pomegranate may significantly help reduce the risk of esophageal, breast, colon, cervix, lung, heart, and prostate cancer as well as diabetes and neurological diseases according to UCLA scientists. Simply remember, the fresher the better.
