5 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon banking powder
2/3 cup sour cream
4 o.z. softened cream cheese
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup Marion berries
1 cup Blueberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and 1 egg- beat until thickened. Combine flour and baking powder then place into the butter mix- mix until texture is smooth.
Spread mixture evenly in a buttered and floured 9 inch cake pan with a removable rim (spring form pan).
Bake 20-25 minutes at the above temperature or until the cake is light golden and springs back slightly when gently pressed.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 egg until smooth. After the cake has been baked, add the cream cheese mix and berries over the top of the cake. Bake again for 25 - 30 minutes or until the edges of the cake are set and lightly browned.
Cool. Loosen from rim of the pan with a knife, and then push the cake out.
